The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Paul Damien Winters of Fresno. A bench warrant has been issued for failing to report to court on charges related to auto theft.
Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Help Eliminate Auto Theft Task Force, or HEAT, contacted Paul Winters while he was in possession of a stolen car. Deputies arrested Winters and booked him into jail. He was let out later the same day as part of a Federal Court Order Release.
Winters is one of Fresno County’s most prolific auto thieves. He has 10 arrests related to stealing cars in the last two years. He has skipped his most recent court hearing to be held accountable for his crime.
Paul Winters is 44 years old, 6’4”, 260 lbs. with hazel eyes and brown hair.
