The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Emmanuel Jacob Rivas of Sanger. A judge has issued a bench warrant related to charges of evading police and resisting arrest.
A deputy attempted to make a traffic stop after a records check of the vehicle revealed it was stolen. The driver, later identified as Emmanuel Rivas, refused to pull over and sped away. Rivas lost control while taking a turn and got the vehicle stuck in the mud. Rivas got out and ran away. The deputy chased him down and arrested him. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail and let out one month later as part of a federal court order release. He has since failed to show up to his court hearing.
Emmanuel Rivas is 35 years old. He is 6’2”, 200 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on his arms of the words “Struggle” and “Defeat.”
