The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Arthur Lee Howlin of Fresno. A probation violation warrant has been issued on charges related to the battery of a custodial officer.
A sheriff’s correctional officer working in the Fresno County Jail contacted incarcerated person Arthur Howlin in a holding cell to move him to his permanent place of housing. Howlin became upset and refused to leave, eventually pushing the correctional officer. The officer got into a physical struggle with Howlin and eventually gained his compliance. A deputy responded and took a report and submitted a charge of battery on a custodial officer.
Howlin was later released on probation, but has since violated the terms of his agreement and is wanted for re-arrest.
Arthur Howlin is black, 38 years old, 6’0”, 130 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He has numerous tattoos.
