Brian Anthony was born and raised in Tulare County and has been the Mid-Day host of Mega 97.9 since 1998. He has also voiced many popular Radio and Television advertisements in the San Joaquin Valley.
Brian became the Public Address Announcer of the Fresno Falcons Hockey Team in 1991, and the Fresno Grizzlies in 1998. Since then, “B” has become a major voice in arenas and stadiums with his popular baritone sound.
Currently the voice of Fresno State University Football “Third Down Thunder”, Fresno States Women’s Volleyball team, Fresno Pacific University major Men’s and Women’s sports, and the voice of the Visalia Rawhide Professional Baseball team.
Ruth Michaels is a Valley native and one
of the best known voices in the Fresno radio
market. She has been on the air continuously since the 1980’s. You can hear her these days on not one, but two of Fresno’s most highly rated morning
shows, Mega 97.9 and News/Talk 580 & 105.9 KMJ. Ruth also handles Public Service for Cumulus Fresno and is one of the most highly sought after voices for commercial work. A Madera native, Ruth lives there now with husband Doug, her children, Sydney & Leo, and a small menagerie of much loved pets.
Noddy Roddy has been on Mega 97.9 for over two decades. You can hear him on the Mega Morning Show with Jeff and Ruthie from 6-9am weekday mornings and he hosts the afternoon show from 3-7pm. Noddy enjoys spending time with his family when he\’s not on the air or at an event. Cerina, Andrew, Rodney and his Lil Mattie, keep him on his toes. He has a dog \”Bobo\’s\”. Noddy loves living in the fast lane. He enjoys riding his Harley whenever he has time. He also likes to visit Las Vegas, Pismo Beach and Morro Bay whenever he can.
